Exquisite attention to detail is one of the hallmarks of the Sarah Baker brand, and we extend this care throughout our production processes. Sustainability is central to our ethos as a brand, and we take careful steps to minimise our impact on the environment.

The Sarah Baker fragrances are all produced in relatively small batches. Working in this way allows us to ensure the highest standards of production and means that every single drop is exquisite. It also means that very little is wasted. We only produce what's needed to reduce what's thrown away.
If you’ve bought a Sarah Baker scent, you’ll know that the unboxing experience is a fundamental part of our creation and we go to lengths to ensure as much of the packaging is recyclable or reusable as possible. The outer sleeve of the box is made from cardboard and is easily recyclable. Our unusual tear open strip keeps the precious perfume tamper-proof inside and means that we don’t need to use cellophane to wrap our boxes.

We lovingly hand-print the name of the perfume individually onto each sleeve. Doing this ensures that we can check the quality of the print on each box, and allows us to keep waste to a minimum. Rather than having different boxes for each scent, customising one box means we don’t have huge print runs of old stock to dispose of when they are no longer needed.
The inner box is reusable and we encourage our clients to add mementos and keepsakes associated with times they have worn the fragrance once they are no longer using it to store the scent. Venture inside the box and you’ll find the fragrance bottle nestled into a foam insert. The foam we use is eco-foam which is made from repurposed materials and is itself recyclable once its work is done.

With each full bottle purchased, we also send a 2ml sample. We do this so that in the unlikely event that the fragrance doesn’t suit you, you can return it without opening the box. We want you to be delighted with your scent, but we would also prefer that a perfume came back to us instead of being relegated to the back of your cupboard and then ultimately thrown away.
At Sarah Baker we are constantly looking for ways to improve our processes and to minimise our impact on the environment.
