I was so pleased to read the wonderful Basenotes article about our house written by the very talented Carla Seipp. Carla came to my studio a while ago and we talked for a very long time. She recorded the whole conversation, and I am very impressed with how she succinctly pulled this very cohesive piece of writing together.
Baker likens her line to “assembling a cast for a soap opera. It would be boring if it would be a bunch of people that were all the same. It has to be different shapes and sizes and personalities.”
