"I’ve always enjoyed the Peach trilogy, but Rococo Pie is the one that continues to catch me off guard, in the best possible way. It’s a fragrance that I find changes constantly. Some days it leans into candied orange and cake, other times it’s a soft peach. Every time I wear it, it feels as though it has reinvented itself. It’s fun, flirty, and surprising!

What I love most about Rococo Pie is how it manages to stay playful without drifting into the “too much” category. It keeps me on my toes, yet it’s incredibly easy to wear. For a house known for its boldness, this one feels effortlessly appealing while still holding its own as something distinctive and artistic. Some scents in the line, Loudo and Flame & Fortune, for example, lean into fragrance-as-art territory. They’re brilliant, but they ask for a bit more from the wearer. Rococo Pie doesn’t. It simply invites you in.

The first time I tried Rococo Pie was at Esxence 2025. I’d booked far too many meetings, and I was exhausted, overstimulated, and swimming in a cloud of well over a hundred perfumes I’d sniffed that day. Rococo Pie cut through the noise immediately. It was one of the few fragrances from the fair that imprinted itself so clearly on my memory. I remember thinking that I could just put it in my pocket and walk away with it and be done. Not have to smell anything else. It felt like me, a scent I could have gone home wearing, totally happily.

I wasn’t alone in that, either. I was visiting the fair with two friends, and all three of us - despite wildly different tastes - picked Rococo Pie as our favourite. That almost never happens.

Rococo Pie isn’t the first scent I have tried from the Sarah Baker brand though. Gold Spot was the very first Sarah Baker fragrance I ever smelled, and it became the perfume that taught me I could actually love chocolate in scent. I hadn’t realised that before. Atlante, too, really interests me; its seaweed-and-brine signature reminds me of growing up in Aruba. Whenever I feel homesick, smelling that is like being able to visit again.

Rococo Pie is the one I reach for without thinking though. I’ve worn it for everything: grocery runs, brunch with friends. I wear it on those days when I’m already in a good mood and want to feel even happier.

Rococo Pie may change from wear to wear, but its message stays the same: light-hearted, uplifting, and somehow always exactly what I need it to be."
