Last week, Sarah Baker joined the lovely team at Smell Stories in Brussels for an intimate evening dedicated to creativity, scent, and a touch of seventies charm. Together, Sarah and the shop hosted a group of wonderful attendees who came to explore the stories behind her perfumes.

Sarah spoke about her creative process and shared the original briefs she presented to perfumers Chris Maurice and Margaux Le Paih Guérin. She even passed around the “Fortune” accord, the magical finishing touch that brings Flame & Fortune to life. Each fragrance was paired with a drink, and guests were treated to a very cute seventies style porcupine hors d’oeuvre. The seventies theme ran through the whole night, thanks to Kurt and Stéphane, who created snacks and a textured window display inspired by the new website design.

It was a joyous evening, and guests had the chance to receive the new 15ml mini as a gift with purchase and to have their bottles signed by Sarah.
