What Does Cypriol Smell Like? The Perfume Guy Explains

Sebastian Jara featured Symmetry in a recent video: What Does Cypriol Smell Like? Another name for Cypriol is Nagarmotha but what does it smell like? It is more nuanced than simply describing cypriol/ nagarmotha as "woody", and Sebastian's video does a good job getting into those nuances. He uses 10 perfumes as examples, including Symmetry.

"Symmetry has loads of cypriol as well as oud. You can totally smell the oud, the cyprio and then, of course, the orange blosssom... and I like this combination: the woodiness, the slightly animalic touch of the oud, the cypriol; its mustiness and its kindof earthiness, and then, of course, that orange blossom to contrast with it beautifully. But there's also amber here, petitgrain, bergamot, neroli, and musk. It's a great fragrance. They've taken all these citrus notes of the flowers, the leaves, and the fruit itself, contrasted with these more earthy woody notes. A great fragrance, it smells great!"

We recommend watching the whole video, but here's a shortcut link to his feature on Symmetry:
