Summer can be a difficult time to wear perfume. Too light and it will evaporate quickly leaving you scentless. Too heavy and it risks becoming stifling in the heat. At Sarah Baker perfumes, we have carefully curated a selection of our finest fragrances for summer wearing, to ensure that you smell divine whatever you get up to. These are the scents that pair best with the glare of the sun, a poolside retreat, and suncream dripped down a lover’s back.

The newest fragrance to land in our summer rotation, Pastel Rumours is a devilishly decadent and milky summer scent.
Grab a fruity milkshake and settle on to the back of a Vespa as Pastel Rumours takes you on a trip towards the sunset. Created by Chris Maurice, this luxurious concoction wraps you in layers of gentle peach, swirling milk, and warming spices. Cardamom and ginger give Pastel Rumours lift and longevity, whilst fruit loops and custard creams give it the quintessentially Sarah Baker touch.

Chris Maurice comments, “Working with Sarah on Pastel Rumours was pure creativity - it always means stepping out of the ordinary, and that’s exactly what we did. Sarah has a unique vision and that made the whole process inspiring and playful. We took a familiar note - peach - and turned it into something creamy, fruity, modern and unexpected. Pastel Rumours is not your typical peach fragrance. It’s a little summer daydream bottled: gourmand, nostalgic, but with a rebellious, carefree twist.”
Pastel Rumours is for days full of adventure and unexpected turns, when even you’re suprised by where the day takes you.
If you are looking for something fresh, then look no further than Greek Keys. Ashley Eden Kessler, who created the fragrance for Sarah Baker, writes: “Greek Keys is sun, skin, and swagger, a scent that channels the heat of a Mediterranean day and the glint of gold on bare skin. Imagine bottling the essence of an effortlessly sexy man lounging on the deck of a super-yacht in nothing but Versace briefs and confidence. It’s summer turned up to full fantasy. We all carry that quiet yet undeniable power, it’s time to let it show.”

Greek Keys evokes high drama on the Aegean sea. Its rolling waves of crystal clear seawater wash over lashings of pink grapefruit and lemon. Rosemary and vetiver give the scent a herbaceous twist and its persistent, vivacious freshness will invigorate from morning until the stars come out.
Greek Keys is the scent to wear when you want to lie by the pool and people watch, golden swimsuit glittering in the sunshine, fabulousness on full display.
Perhaps the scent of a shimmering mermaid is more your style? If so then opt for the aquatic beauty of Atlante. This perfume evokes sun-warmed tide pools at midday. It’s a siren song of sparkling yuzu and bewitching orris marrying lift and luxury. Inspired by Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus”, Atlante simmers with desire and sexuality. It’s a mythological souvenir from a primordial sea.

Sarah McCartney, the perfumer for Atlante writes: “Sarah Baker's ideas are connected with a strand of clarity so it's never difficult to imagine what she's hoping for. With Atlante, it was the pink iridescence of mother of pearl, the inside of a sea shell, washed with salt water, with sunshine flashing as it caught the waves. Aphrodite manifesting as a swimmer and Hollywood film star Esther Williams. Sunbathing at its most glamorous.”
Atlante is the perfect scent for date nights, seductive rendezvous in deserted coves, and illicit kisses under shady palm trees.
