The Plum Girl's review of Jungle Jezebel is up for a Perfumed Plume Award

The Plum Girl—a 3x Finalist in the 2020 Perfumed Plume Awards

Our heartfelt congratulations to Elena Cvjetkovic, author of the The Plum Girl Blog, for her recent distinction of being named a finalist in the 2020 Perfumed Plume Awards for Fragrance Journalism in three categories!

Of course, we are especially thrilled that one of her honors involves our very own Jungle Jezebel by Miguel Matos!

Category of Distinction:

Short ‘n Sweet Perfume Stories – Print or Digital.

For quality of editorial content; originality & creativity; accuracy & depth of information.

It’s so important to recognize the vital contributions of the journalism community to the perfume and beauty industry. Without critical discussion we would be drowning in a cacophony of marketing releases.

As explained by founders Mary Ellen Lapsansky and Lyn Leigh, “The Perfumed Plume Awards have been established to recognize the authors of the alluring fragrance narratives that stimulate interest and passion in scent.”

The award announcement reads, “…’these marvelous writers deserve recognition and congratulations for their perfume stories. All are factual. All are creative. All are fascinating.’ It's true to say that all the submissions were just wonderful and the results a close call. These fabulous stories are a must-read so please take a few minutes to appreciate the talents of these writers.”

Cheers to Elena and all the writers who help to shape our understanding of fragrance.

XO, Sarah
